Welcome to the Q-suites life.

Summary

Money doesn't grow on trees. It grows in credit card points.

I flew from Zurich, Switzerland to Reno, NV on points.
I flew from Reno, NV to Palm Springs, CA on points.
I flew from Palm Springs, CA to Bend, OR on points.
I flew from Denver, CO to Vancouver, Canada on points.
I flew from Los Angeles, CA to Reno, NV round trip on points.
I flew from Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA round trip on points.
I flew from Los Angeles, CA to Bali, Indonesia on points.
I flew from Bangkok, Thailand to Portland, OR on points.
I flew from Reno, NV to Bali, Indonesia on points.
I used points to upgrade myself to a business class cabin from Bali to Paris.
I used points to pay myself back on thousands of dollars in rental car expenses.

The best part?

I still have over 400,000 points across multiple airlines and credit cards.

Seriously.

Actually I have even more if I were to count points accrued across hotel brands and rental car companies, but I’m not going to count those, because I earned those from traveling for work – not by playing the credit card game.

The credit card game is responsible for at least half of my 400K balance, more if you count all the redemptions I’ve already made.

Don’t hate the player, love the game. Because I’m going to teach you how to do it.

Booking flights does, actually, feel this good.
